We will have a pro-level inkjet printer, and a complete ensemble of color control widgets for you to see and use. We will for the first time highlight color management tools from Datacolor, which include the SpyderCube (grey balance and luminance control), the Spyder 3 Elite display calibrator, the Spyder SR printer calibration kit, and the LensCal lens focus kit. Living the Creative Life (Finding Sources of Inspiration) – David Green instructor $79
How many times have you gone out to shoot pictures and come back with nothing you liked. We’ve all experienced periods of creative difficulty, where we are super-critical of our work, and unable to feel the joy and inspiration we all experienced when we were new to photography. This workshop is designed to help you learn to live the creative life, to turn your light bulb on whenever you want, and to become a fountain of ideas, instead of a creative desert. We will learn how all of your creativity ties to your life experience, how to get a jump start with your creative flow, and how to apply it all to the intimidating act of creating photographic art. Whether you are an old hand who started with film, or a complete newbie who just graduated from a digital phone to a point-and-shoot, this class will help you find your MOJO, and see the world creatively. Requirement: Bring any camera, the simpler the better.
